day off!

hey people! whats up?
yay! no school tomorrow since its the dragonboat festival. but too bad that we've got tons of math problems to do....urghhhh. those boring math could drive me crazy!

i saw the da vinci code movie...it was um...since i didnt expect it to be very interesting or exciting i think it was okay...you know. if you dont expect too much you wont get too disappointed...lol.
okay the point is...you really need to read the book first before going to the movie otherwise you could be so bored and fall asleep during the movie....
if you ask me if i like the book....i would say its a cool and exciting book really...if you see it as an entertainment or a piece of fiction work...
however, its sooo sad that one-third of the readers believe in dan brown's theory.
what was dan brown's point? people that have faith in christ wont stop believing in it just because of this book. people that do not believe in it wont believe in it anyways....so what was he trying to tell people? the only thing he was doing was making people that believe in god look stupid through false information.
it doesnt make any sense though...
well...like i said, its a well-written novel if you dont put to much personal thoughts in it...but thats almost impossible so yea...

hey guys!! WOW I havent blogged for like ages. yay! the monthly exam is overrrr!! please dont ask me how was the test lol. so hows everyone doing? fine, i hope
we are now reading a novel by sharon creech called "love that dog". grrrrrr its sooooooo boringgggggg. and we have to write response notes........X( if you dont know who sharon creech is i'll tell you that she's the author of the newberry winning book "walk two moons". i dont get it....if her books "the wandered" and "walk two moons" are the bestsellings then, why dont we read them? its a whole lot more interesting than love that dog...anyways enough complaint lol.

yesterday i read a very inspiring story on the internet. its about this little boy named bonni who lived with his uncle because his parents died a long time ago. he went into every store on the street with one dollar in his hand asking,"do you guys sell god?" some storekeepers said no and some thought he's just a naughty boy causing troubles. he went into the 29th store and asked the owner if he has god for sale. the old man who was about 60 asked him,"why do you want god for?" so the little boy told him how his uncle fell off the stairs and the doctors said that only god can heal him. he thought,god must be something very special. the store owner sold him a "god brand" drink for a dollar and told him,"here you go, your uncle will be all right after he drinks it." the little boy went to the hospital withthe drink. a few days later some doctors came and healed bonni's uncle. however, when he saw the bill he almost fainted. but people told him that someone already paid it for him. afterwards, the uncle received a letter saying,"young man, you are blessed to have bonni as a nephew, to help you he went store by store with a dollar buying 'god'. thank lord, its him who saved your life. please remember that'god' is love from all of us."

一個小男孩捏著一美元，沿街一家一家商店地詢問：「請問您這兒有上帝賣嗎？」
有些店主回答說沒有，有些店主甚至嫌他在搗亂，不由分說就把他攆出了店門。天快黑時，第二十九家商店的店主熱情地接待了男孩。
老闆是個六十多歲的老頭，滿頭銀髮，慈眉善目。他笑咪咪地問男孩：「告訴我，孩子，你買上帝幹嘛？」
男孩流著淚告訴老頭，他叫邦尼，父母很早就去世了，他是被叔叔帕特魯普撫養大的。叔叔是個建築工人，前不久從鷹架上摔了下來，至今不能動彈。醫生說，只有上帝才能救他。邦尼想，上帝一定是種非常奇妙的東西，我把上帝買回來，讓叔叔吃了，傷就會好。
老頭眼圈濕潤了，問：「你有多少錢？」
「一美元。」
「孩子，上帝的價格正好是一美元呢！」老頭從貨架上拿了瓶「上帝之吻」牌飲料給邦尼，說：「拿去吧！孩子，你叔叔喝了這瓶『上帝』，就沒事了。」
邦尼喜出望外，將飲料抱在懷裡，興沖沖地回到了醫院。一進病房，他就開心地叫嚷道：「叔叔，我把上帝買回來了，你很快就會好起來！」幾天之後，一個由頂尖醫學專家組成的醫療小組來到醫院，對帕特魯普進行會診。

他們採用世界上最先進的醫療技術，終於治好了帕特魯普的傷。帕特魯普出院時，看到醫療費賬單上那個天文數字，差點嚇昏過去。可是院方告訴他，有個老頭幫他把錢付清了。那老頭是個億萬富翁，從一家跨國公司董事長的位置上退下來後，隱居在本市，開了家雜貨店打發時光。那個醫療小組就是老頭花重金聘請來的。
帕特魯激動不已，他立即和邦尼去感謝老頭。可是老頭已經把雜貨店賣掉，出國旅遊去了。
後來，帕特魯普接到一封信，是那老頭寫來的，信中說：「年輕人，您能有邦尼這個侄兒，實在是太幸運了。為了救您，他拿一美元到處購買上帝……。感謝上帝，是他挽救了您的生命。但請您一定記住，真正的上帝，是人們的愛心！」
